Eucalyptus carries a quite strong and extremely herbal aroma with woody undertones. Eucalyptus essential oil is fantastic on skin ailments (Burns, blisters, wounds, insect bites, lice and skin infections), as well as to help against the effects of colds, sinus problems, and flu. There is also a history of Eucalyptus essential oil being applied to sore muscles and joints. During flu season use eucalyptus to clear sinuses and other flu symptoms.
Blends Well With: Pine, thyme, lavender, rosemary, marjoram, cedarwood and lemon.
General Activities: Skin Conditions, Arthritis, bronchitis, catarhh, cold sores, colds, coughing, fever, flu, poor circulation, sinusitis.
Safety: Eucalyptus should be used in dilution, and avoided during pregnancy. The oil is very toxic when taken orally.
